Thanks for the link :)

I'll need to follow this info first though in order for it to work.

Also, you can migrate your existing CBSubs license to a CBSubs GPL Membership subscription and this way have access to the CBSubs GPL Download area here:
www.joomlapolis.com/downloads/downloads-...bs-gpl-download-area

where you will find similar download items excluding #5 and $6 which are API docs related with your Developer membership

Cheers!

hello

I'm a bit unclear about this new release. Actually I have 2 CBsubs license:

Licensed users: Beginner: up to 5000 users
Number of sites: 1 site
Maintenance period: 2 years maintenance 2011-11-13 - 2013-11-13

AND

Licensed users: Starter: up to 500 users
Number of sites: 1 site
Maintenance period: 1 year maintenance 2012-06-15 - 2013-06-15

So if I choose your new GPL version that mean above license will be nulled and I will get one years on maintenance for both sites (and get unlimited users), starting from the purchase of the GPL license?

thank

I use Joomla 3.3.6 - CB 2.0.4 - CBSubs 4 - Several Incubator plugins

Yes.

Once you purchase your CBSubs GPL membership you will be able to download the new CBSubs GPL 3.0 package.

You can install this over any existing CBSubs 2.0.2 environment.
Once installed over any license requirements will by gone (the new CBSubs GPL settings area does not have a license tab).

Hope this is clear now.

Was awesome until existing subscribers read the details...

We are PRIVILEGED enough to pay AGAIN?

sorry but taking those who purchased lifetime subscriptions and forcing them into annual again is bad juju...

those of us that were paying annual or bi-annual subscriptions can also UPGRADE - meaning PAY Again?
When we signed on to be entitled to future upgrades while on subscription / support...

This held true during the transition from the 1.x series to the 2.x series
Now that its going 3.0 and adding features and functions that the maintenance subscribers paid for - we're being once again billed?

Color our group not happy - We're now looking at tear out subs and going a new direction - unless Joomlapolis wishes to change their stance to existing subscribers and honor their commitments to its subscription base.

Reasonable request would have been change the terms at renewal time.
Lifetime subscriptions remain unchanged - they win
Annual / Bi-Annuals change pricing at their renewal time - not mid stream - would have been reasonable that way.

Thats great and I see that my long asked bug fix (registration triggers) is included.

Will try differnt use cases now with the new GPL model und differnet domains.

Must agree with previous poster about people on livetime upgrades - I guess you knew you would make them unhappy.

The quick installer (CB + CB Subs) is super!
