cannot edit users

When I try to edit a user in CB User Management by clicking on the user name, I get the following:

Message: Object expected
Line: 1205
Char: 1
Code: 0
URI: www.aumcpbo.org/administrator/index.php?option=com_comprofiler&task=showusers&view=showusers

If I check the box next to the name and click "edit", I get a message saying "please select an item from the list to edit"

(I am a superuser and nothing else)

p.s. this behavior occurs in the other tabs as well (i.e. field manager)

Joomla 1.6.2 is a bad release that broke many third party websites - please upgrade to Joomla 1.6.6.

Well well well ... you need to evaluate evaluate any third party extensions you need/use and see if they are compatible with Joomla 1.7.

My personal opinion(beyond the previous comment):

I never upgrade to a .0 version i would wait for at least 1.7.2.

I also will not go to joomla anything until the joomla.org sites have migrated to same version.
