CBSubs already causes the field to be ignored if it's a required field. However, if you're using CB Conditional to alter the fields conditional display too then that could be where you conflict is from. Please ensure if using CBSubs and CB Conditional that only 1 of them is affecting the field.

I have the same problem.
I never used the conditionals, only the CBSubs Fields Tabs Protect plug-in with the above configuration from you Krileon.
If a field is required, continue to be required as hidden field.

It is a file element. As i need users with specific plan to upload a info file in .pdf format.
I have two anothers elements where are simply fields, but for the moment are not required.
