The AutoTweet NG (next generation) product series posts the title and url for new Joomla articles, forum posts etc. automatically as status messages (tweets) to a twitter account. AutoTweet NG consists of a (main) component and several plugins. The AutoTweet NG series is based on our popular original AutoTweet plugin.

This package includes the main AutoTweet NG Component (Message handling and basic services) and the AutoTweet NG Automator plugin (Automatic post attempts for pending twitter messages). To get this work, you must also install the AutoTweet NG extension plugin for the extension you will post for (see documentation).

At the moment the moment the following extension plugins are availaible:
* AutoTweet NG Content-Extension: Extends AutoTweet for Joomla core content articles.
* AutoTweet NG Kunena-Extension: Extends AutoTweet for Kunena forum posts.
* AutoTweet NG K2-Extension: Extends AutoTweet for K2 article manager.
* AutoTweet NG Phoca Download-Extension: Extends AutoTweet for Phoca Download.

Features
* Uses the new (versioned) twitter REST api to post messages.
* All plugins are customizable: category/section, link position, post private articles, post modified articles, use title or text for message, short urls etc.
* Works also with sh404sef (and - of course - Joomla! embedded SEF support).
* Automatic support for short URLs (is.gd or bit.ly with account).
* Extension API for 3rd party developers (see documentation).
* Automatic message resending: AutoTweet resends messages automatically to twitter if there is an error on twitter api site.
* AutoTweet posts also later published or republished articles.
* Supports articles with present publish date (see documentation).
