UPDATED:
This is the second release of the CB 1.2 customized admin modules for Joomla 1.5
These modules replace the Joomla built-in modules that show the logged in admin user the User Manager in the Site Menu and the Control Panel.

Note: These admin modules will NOT work on Joomla 1.0

***WARNING*** Add a new module position called HIDE and assign this new module position to the built-in Admin Menu before your enable this module. This is due to limitations in Joomla 1.5 where two admin menu modules cannot be active at the same time in the same module position! Due to changes in Joomla 1.5 the built-in Admin Menu MUST remain enabled in order for CB 1.2 Admin Menu to work.

These are great modules and very useful. But the admin menu module v1.0 doesn't drop down with Joomla v1.5.8.

Hopefully we'll see a new version soon... :)

It took a little time to understand the installation, but from then on I never took the wrong usermanager..:-).
Installation:
-upload and install both package
-go to modulemanagment>administrator
-disable Quick Icons and Admin menu
-enable CB Quick icons and CB Admin menu
-click on CB Quick icons and change Position to Icons and save
-Click on CB Admin Menu and change Position to menu and save
You're up and running

Be sure to follow the new instructions in the latest download. Note: You must assign the old admin menu a new position and leave the menu enabled in order for the new admin menu to work.

I like the idea as it will stop duplication or editing of the wrong user list etc.

However:

I'm unable to get it to work with CB 1.2 RC$ & Joomla! 1.5.9

Let us know when it does work and I'll be downloading straight away.

The menu worked great but it broke when I upgraded to Joomla 1.5.9. It's a shame because it is a security update so has to take priority.

It would be great to see an updated version.

DO NOT USE "djmec" INSTRUCTIONS!!!!!

I did it, and now I cannot use Joomla, this keep appearing:

"Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class JAdminCSSMenu in /home/votaind1/public_html/administrator/modules/mod_menu/menu.php on line 182"

If you did, hopefully you would had made a backup of your site, otherwise this will kill it!!!
