This COM manages user profiles in the Community Builder environment in Joomla. The original CBJUICE package (version 1.7) supports Joomla 1.0 and Joomla 1.5. It facilitates the editing of the user and comprofiler fields using a CSV file as input. This version provides limited support for JUGA. The original version is essentially stable. No more features are planned.
CBJUICE2 is a complete rewrite of the orginal concept. The new version includes delete by CSV and other useful features. This new version makes substantial use of the excellent CBAPI. CBJUICE2 supports only Joomla 1.5 and 1.6/7. It’s use in 1.6 REQUIRES the stable version of Joomla 1.6 and CB Version 1.4. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO use earlier versions of 1.6 or CB in combination because of changes in the ACL. We have tested the component as thoroughly as possible but NO warranty is offered.

Worked flawlessly

I just used CBJuice 1.5RC2c to import 10,200 users from a CSV file into my new Joomla 1.5.7 site running CB 1.2 RC3. It worked flawlessly. What a great timesaver! Since I did the import, I've been managing users and performing other tests to ensure it worked and everything appears to be working perfectly. Thanks for a very helpful component.

Hi!

I've downloaded the latest version of CBJuice to install it on Joomla 1.5.0 stable, but it doesn't seem to work. Is it a compatibility matter?

I hope a new version is coming out soon!

After a bit of rattling around figuring out how to make the header fields match, I now depend on this little jewel to make mass changes. It has saved many hours of typing into the CB member data fields.

its a bit cranky, but it works! and saves a lot of time.
best way to see what fields you need is to first save the existing users to a csv file and look at what it creates and do the same for the
file you want to upload.
I would back up the DB first in case..

I agree about saving to see what the fields are but on the main page, the latest versions list the fields. Always back up the database because what you change cannot be recovered except by reloading. The interface is cranky because we are trying to protect you as best we can. However, suggestions are always appreciated. Just post in the forum. If we think it is useful, we might do it when we have time and interest. I wrote this code because we needed it for a site.

CB Juice worked well on my site. I am using it to download a backup of the users as a csv file, and to add in users from a legacy system.

My only complaint is that the screen with all the options is messy and difficult to read. But once you have understood it, it is very simple.
