For verson 1.1 only!
Upload and activate the plugin and deactivate the cbcore plugin (its a replacement!)
In the pluginfolder is a png-file called watermark.png. just replace it with your watermarkfile (same name!)

so far ive never been able to get this to work with any version since it's come out. for some reason it kills the entire middle profile area, reducing the image to nothing but the username text.
also, why did the author decide to include his joomla configuration.php file with it? did he really want to share his site's password and webroot that badly???
