Greek and CB2

heh, imagine you had a site in Greek...
I think I am experiencing exactly the same problem as the fellows above.
I use mambo, 4.5.2, on a iso-8859-7 charset.
I have even begun to make the greek translation for CB2.
On the frontend, as well as on the backend of mambo, I do not seem to be able to save anything in greek encoding.
Users with greek usernames have their names shown completely in a mess.
However, they can still login to the site.
The Advanced login module has the same problem, on displaying the username.

Can u please help? All of my charsets are in sync, as far as i can tell. The MySQL also shows the entries correctly, just the CB fails to do that.

I have read all articles, but the still remains:( Of course i've updated all files in components & modules parts.
Is it possible to solve. My charset is win-1251 (cyrillic), which converts into iso-8859-1.

win-1251 is not same as iso-8859-1.

With Joomla, you can have only one charset on your site. The language file must set this in the _ISO define, and all language things must be (converted into) same charset.

If you want more than one, unversal solution is UTF-8, but it requires a few tweaks documented on joomla forums...
