When I try to install the cb captcha plugin 1.0 I get the following error when trying to register myself as a user on my site:

Direct Access to this location is not allowed.

It also comes up when Im in the backend of joomla and try to click on the CB "User Management" Tab, all the other tabs are fine. Also when I try using the "synchronise users" option in the tools tab I get the same error. The problem goes away when I uninstall CB captcha.

Has anyone else had this problem with CB 1.2.1 and CB captcha plugin 1.0? Is there a solution to this?

Yes... enable the Joomla legacy plugin or purchase a documentation subscription for immediate access to the RC version of the CB 1.2/Joomla 1.5 compatible version.
