Authortab problem

Authortab problem was created by CrazyHarry
I have the author tab plugin installed and it only lists one article. What do I need to do to get it to list more?

The articles must be public and the user viewing must have viewing permissions to the article. For example a Registered user can't see an article only available to Special users.
