error on logo upload

PHP 5.2.16
Joomla 2.5.7
CB 1.8.1
Groupjive 2.5.3
Everything worked great on a local XAMMP install.
I installed some custom group logos from the backend. I see where they were installed in the /components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbgroupjive/images directory. I also see where new folders were created and images renamed were installed in the /images/comprofiler/plug_cbgroupjive directory.

FTP’ed the site to remote and some of the GJ Group icons detached from the groups and are not showing. When trying to upload new icons from both the back and front end I get the following error: Logo failed to upload! Error: Error occurred during the moving of the uploaded file. Method: Move
File permissions for the following are 777: /components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbgroupjive
/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbgroupjive/images
/images/comprofiler
/images/comprofiler/plug_cbgroupjive
Newly created folders under /images/comprofiler/plug_cbgroupjive were left at 755.

You've a permissions error somewhere. Could be your install is pointing to the wrong tmp/cache folders. You can't directly move a site without re-adjusting configuration.php for the new location. You can adjust file and folder permissions that GJ should use within GJ configuration as some hosts need 775 or even 777.

I had lots of other issues stemming from the upload so I pulled the whole thing down. Zipped up a new site and uploaded that and then extracted it. That took care of the problem.

I do hope that you will add in a method to bulk add members to groups from the back end though. Seems a lot of people would use that. Especially when adding GJ to an existing site.

It's planned for a future release after CB has official import/export API.
