[SOLVED] "Textarea" vs "Text field" was created by Eirikur_J
What's the difference between the field types "Text area" vs "text field" other than you can control how big the text area is.
In what cases would you use "text field" over "Text area"?

Textarea is like what you see as "Message" when making a post, it can hold more text and be expanded height wise and not just width. Text is more like "Subject" when making a post. It's 1 row and can only expand via width. There's many different ways to use them, it's entirely up to you which you prefer to use.
