Count number of logins per user and log it in DB

14 years 1 month ago #127758 by Luff
I was looking around the forum for a solution of this, unfortunatelly I didn't find a solution yet.
I want to add a database field where the number of logins per user are counted, increasing every time when a user logins to see the most active users and to be able to identify users which are not that active.
Is there a solution to do this, a plugin or anything what I can do to achieve this?
Thanks if someone can help!

Am not aware of such a plugin, but you'd need a new fieldtype plugin or just a plugin which utilizes the onAfterLogin trigger to update any field you choose. Please see tutorials in signature for usage of CB triggers in a CB plugin.

Can also review document subscriber available ajax text field as well as file field for examples of fieldtype plugins.

Not sure why this is necessary however as the last visit date is stored in database and shown as a field. You're able to clearly see if user last visited 5 days ago, 10 minutes ago, or even 1 year ago.
