CB 1.2.2 upgrade: install error: file not found

I'm running Joomla 1.5.15. testing the upgrade process on my local machine (WAMP) before doing it "for real" on my live hosted site.
I've got CB Captcha, CB SOBI2, and a clone of CB SOBI2 plugged in.

When trying to upgrade from CB1.2.1 to CB 1.2.2,
I'm trying to install as per instructions into the CB plugin install area (not the joomla extension area).

my understanding is that the following 4 files must be installed in this order:
com_comprofiler.zip
mod_cblogin.zip
mod_comprofilerModerator.zip
mod_comprofilerOnline.zip

I tried installing the first .zip file using the upload and install method:

Upload showPlugins - Upload Failed
ERROR: Could not find a CB XML setup file in the package.
[ Continue ... ]
Upload showPlugins - Failed
Installation file not found:
C:\Users\Daniel\wamp\www\fromNF-2010-03-13\media\install_4bac17d07e44a\
[ Continue ... ]

Then I tried pointing it to a directory and doing install from directory and I get the following error:

Install new plugin from directory C:\\Users\\Daniel\\Documents\\My Dropbox\\LandSpec\\Plugins\\cb_1_2_2\\com_comprofiler - Failed
Installation file not found:
C:\Users\Daniel\Documents\My Dropbox\LandSpec\Plugins\cb_1_2_2\com_comprofiler\

I'm using localhost wamp on my machine so it can't be permissions (right?)
and I've checked inside com_comprofiler.zip and found:
comprofilej.xml 21kb
comprofiler.xml 20kb
metadata.xml 5kb

in my Global Configuration, Path to Temp-folder = /tmp which exists and is writable. Not sure why it's looking for C:\Users\Daniel\wamp\www\fromNF-2010-03-13\media\install_4bac18fea61d8\

The CB 1.2.2 package has a pretty detailed installation guide. Please study it.

CB Component should be installed/upgraded as any other Joomla/Mambo component.

Arg. Thanks. I got so worked up looking at the details that I overlooked the simplest and most important thing. LOL if the instructions just said "install these 4 files into Joomla" I might not have made such a meathead move
Sorry for the trouble.

Will definitely add this statement to the next installation guide version, hoping that users will actually read it ... ;)
