Best SEF and supported SEF is Joomlas, but it will format as www.example.com/CB-MENU-ALIAS/username. Possibly check out SH404Sef or something of the sort; rather trial and error until you've found the extension to meet your needs. What is the best free SEF for Community Builder Profiles? so each profile url is in the format of.>> www.site.com/user

Your URL is being structured as SITE/FUNCTION/USERNAME. I can't comment on why its doing that, sorry. You're not using strictly Joomlas SEF and have a 3rd party extension acting on SEF as well. Have just confirmed is working fine on simply only Joomla SEF.ONE
I am using AceSEF for SEF with SEF routing(re-writing) for CB enabled via J1.5 (to use Joomla's SEF, not AceSEFs CB extension) but I am only able to achieve the following URL when selecting a user from the user list:
www.a1personaltrainers.com.au/userprofile/debbie-bruce
How can I achieve what you mention, namely?
www.a1personaltrainers.com.au/CB-MENU-ALIAS/debbie-bruce
(where 'CB-MENU-ALIAS' = 'personal-trainer-profile')
You can't without additional rewrite rules or 3rd party extension. Joomla will always use the menu links alias.TWO
Further, when navigating to the above list of users, the url is shown as:
www.a1personaltrainers.com.au/userslist/personal-trainer-full-listing
How can I achieve the following?
www.a1personaltrainers.com.au/personal-trainer-full-listing
A lot has changed, please see the announcement posts for a changelog.Has something changed in CB1.2.2 to 1.2.3?
Of course that will display as such. It's formatted SITE/ALIAS/FUNCTION/USERNAME. If your menu link is strictly to com_comprofiler for the user viewing their OWN profile the link will be SITE/ALIAS/USERNAME. The URL is structured correctly. Sorry, but can not assist with this any further. It's working as intended. As for 3rd party SEF you should consult with the developer of your extension.Even when AceSEF is completely disabled, I still get 'userprofile' showing in url, vis:
www.a1personaltrainers.com.au/trainer-profile/userprofile/Debbie%20Bruce
