Lost username or Password email not being sent out

Hello,

We're running the latest versions of joomla 1.5 and cb. We've recently migrated from 1.0 and are having a few issues, one around usersearch here www.joomlapolis.com/component/option,com_joomlaboard/Itemid,38/func,view/catid,112/id,136753/#136753 but we also have this new one.

If a member forgets their username or password and they use the “forgot login” feature it doesn’t seem to be sending out the email with the new information.

we tested and got the "confirm your email" message, the "welcome" message, the "cb auto welcome", but we get nothing when we request the lost username OR lost password (tried both).

We are using the php mail function and it appears to work fine for other auto generated CB messages, just not for this one.

Can someone offer a suggestion.

Please enable debug mode and maximum error reporting within Joomla global configuration. Then set your template to default Joomla template. Once done perform another password and/or username request. Review any on-screen errors and/or messages (such as were you given a confirmation message?). If nothing, please review your server error log and if possible your mail log (may need to contact host for assistance in locating).
