[SOLVED] Lost pass w/ RocketThemes doesn't work IE

13 years 10 months ago #136768 by careware
Hello there,

I have found a problem with rocketthemes (Crystaline template) and the community builder login. It works fine if I change the template.

In internet explorer the "Reminder need for" lost username and lost password section does not show the necessary boxes.

It works fine in Opera and Firefox.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Is there an easy way to turn that javascript stuff off so that it won't conflict (or whatever the hell it's doing)

The problem can be seen here;
*edit* url removed, prefer my site not to be listed

Any thoughts?

Thank you so much for anyone who has any suggestions.
John

I guess I will try them, I guess that's probably the more logical place to ask :).

Thanks Nick.

It is a known issue that the lost password/username features do not properly work in IE. Whether this is related to your template or not I do not know. However, the issue is resolved in next CB release.

Thanks Kyle,

I have logged a report at RocketTheme. I am fairly sure it is some kind of conflict as when I change templates it does seem to work correctly.

Hopefully that will help resolve it, and if not I guess next CB release :)

I will report back what they say or when I find the answer.

Well rocket theme are no help, they reckon it works in their IE and ignored my follow up post. Definitely doesn't work in mine.

It does work in the Beez template so, I can only assume it is a conflict with either mootools/jquery or something else related to what rocket themes do.

I would appreciate knowing how far away the next release is, but I can appreciate you guys are doing this for free so, I can just wait.

Thanks so much for for your help, product and support.
