over riding email confirmation on the back end

13 years 10 months ago #136991 by CindyAyers
I've had a couple of users try to create a login in who tell me they never received the email notice to confirm their email. I can see all of their information and am able to enable their account, but don't see how I confirm their email in order for them to be able to access it. In my case, I know the email is valid because they registered with it in DT register, but don't see how I can get them to their login without them actually confirming it. I do realize I can turn this off but I kind of like having it to keep those we don't want from creating an account. I've only had it happen a couple times and would appreciate knowing a work around.

Thanks
Cindy

I would bet either their email server (their ISP) or their antivirus/firewall software threw it into a spam folder.

You can use CB User Manager to manually confirm/approve their unconfirmed account - just edit the user and look in the contact info tab.
