Hello guys..!!!

I am using CB 1.2.2 version. I want to implement AJAx similar to one that is available to check the username field in the registration form.

I have created a new field using the "Field Management" option. The field name is 'Phone Number'.

Now if a new user registers at my website, and enters a phone number which already exists in the database, I want to warn the user regarding the same using AJAX.

Can you please help me with this?

Only username and email provide ajax checking, you'd need to make a new fieldtype plugin in order to provide such ajax checking. I recommend reviewing document subscriber ajax text and file fields for examples of fieldtype plugins.

I hope in CB 2.0 there will be a new field type which can compare any values (from database) utilizing this Ajax function by default without the need to create a plugin.
