List ordered by numbers

List ordered by numbers was created by Oby
I tried making a list - a ranking list, ordered by the poits earned in tournaments (these are fields, and added in the list)

But, there is a problem; This is how the list looks like after adding a few persons:

Name - points
Person 3 - 60
Person 4 - 40
Person 1 - 150
Person 2 - 100

As you can see, CB looks at the first number to sort the results, but this way the list gets messy, and can't be used. Are there any filters I could use? (yes, I am sorting them by the points field).

I have seen this when the number is a text field. To sort properly the number needs to be a number field.

I was looking for that, but when I make a field, I don't see an option for a number field - only text area and text field. WHat am I supposed to choose?

EDIT: To be more clear - I just wan't to know how to make a number field, step by step, as I am not getting it :/

EDIT2: Do you mean that i should change the field in my SQL database to only accept numbers?

I don't think that number fields are an option at this time. I believe I read somewhere that will be an option in a later release.

The only thing I can think of for now is to pad enough left zeros to get your sorting corrected.

So 60 becomes 060, etc.
The number field type is a feature request which will be included in a later release.
