nesting tabs programmatically

nesting tabs programmatically was created by joomlamoves
i developed a plugin with four tabs that are created in xml file
the problem is that they do not nest into one tab
each tab has its own handler and its own class.
what is the trick to nesting tabs programmatically?
i see that the contact info can nest the profile alright but i cannot figure out how to do it upon install.
how can i also hide this tab containing all of them, programmatically? I want to check on usertype (all my group codes are in there via JACL)
