I want my users to upload avatars in CB and see them in phpBB.

I dont want users to upload their avatar in phpBB they must only update avatars in CB.

Currently when I am in the Admin of phpBB and I view user details I see the avatar, just that when they post it does not appear.

How can I get the CB avatars to appear in the forum topics, postings and member profile in phpBB? (They currently only appear only in the Admin panel)

I may have to defer this slightly to Martijn (martijn189) as I am not really an avatar expert... but my guess is that phpBB might have a different limit on avatars (say pixel size or file size, maybe even naming)... Any of those possible?

FYI, I have set the Avatar settings to the same values in both phpBB and CB but they still dont show. I think having users modify their avatar/image in CB and simply displaying in phpBB is the best way to intergrate both profiles....

in phpBB the option in Configuration...

Enable remote avatars
Avatars linked to from another website must be enabled while upload avatar and gallery avatar is false...

Just out of curiosity... are they remote images or are they stored in the Joomla pictures area (not sure the exact directory)...

Is this something the connector should set in phpBB automatically?

I hacked some of the code in the phpbb template file so that when a user clicks "profile" or "memberlist" it goes to the CB profile or memberlist. This way, the profile part of phpbb is not used.
