Public Mail install was created by gemadan96
I have been trying to install the Public Mail plugin. Each time I receive the following message "Could not find a Joomla! XML setup file in the package". I have tried the various suggestions out their wihout succees.

I need the functionality that this plugin provides for several sites that I manage. I tried downloading the package again from the joomlapolis site, but now get an error when trying to download.

Is a new version of this plug in or any other fix available.

Please advise.

Resolved. Found another copy of the download on my system and was able to install through the CB Plugin Manager.

I was having this problem as well.

I think you will always get the error, unless you use the CB Plugin Manager to install it. The default install place for Joomla - WILL NOT WORK.

It is a "CB plugin" so it needs to be installed through the CB installer like ALL the other CB plugins.

Joomla installer is only for Joomla extensions...
