A couple of questions.. I am looking for a good component that will handle video, flash etc.. also looking for good podcast component.. I was curious what you guys recommend?

Don't forget Loudbot, which is a bridge type setup, but is pretty powerful (It also integrates with other apps like Wordpress, so you could centralize podcasts and then share them among CMS applications)

Best bet is Joomla Extensions:

I just tried SStreamTalk and it's great.
It's so simple, just works right off and no hassles.

As I mention in the review, if you do podcasting then you need to worry about RSS, wrappers and many other things this does not cover. But for what it claims to do it's great.
