I have two issues I am having difficulty with.

New users can not log in until an admin confirms that user, even though 'Require Admin Approval' and 'Require Email Confirmation' are both set to NO on the cb registration configuration manager. The settings should be automatic, but new registrants always show up as unconfirmed with the clock graphic (not a check) in the approval column.

Second, when a user registers with an existing email and submits the form, instead of a message (i.e. 'this email address is already in use') the screen simply reloads with a blank registration form....How can I ensure a message?

Ensure users are registering via CB and not Joomla or this will happen. Please review the installation PDF documentation or the READMEs included with the CB package for basic installation steps. Additional the documentation subscription documents will provide further information on the installation process.

CB will provide an error if the email is already in use, ensure you're not using Joomla registration.
