[SOLVED] Call to undefined method JAuthorization

13 years 9 months ago #137530 by nikos150579
Hello,

I'm having the following problem using CB 1.2.3.
When i try to access "user management" i'm getting the following error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined method JAuthorization::get_user_group_id() in /home/deb34174/domains/dutch-portfolio.nl/public_html/administrator/components/com_comprofiler/library/cb/cb.acl.php on line 658

Anybody familiar with this problem? And with the solution, of course :)

Please ensure you've completely upgraded your release to CB 1.2.3 and cleared all cache. The error would appear that $_CB_framework has somehow been replaced with an instance of JAuthorization, which can only think of this happening with an incomplete upgrade. Can not duplicate your issue however on fresh install and upgrade install of CB 1.2.3.

Hello Krileon,

Thank you for your fast reaction.
Is there a way to fix this problem whithout doing a clean install of Joomla.

Deleted all the old comprofiler fields (from a old joomla installation from the database. This solved the problem :)
