[SOLVED] Tab Management Problem

[SOLVED] Tab Management Problem was created by tremor
On a brand new installation of Joomla with no other add-ons I've installed CB 1.2.3 - When I am in the Tab Manager to make an edit, for example the menu

"Community Builder Tab: Edit [ Menu ]"

After I make my changes and I click "Save" absolutely nothing happens and nothing is saved.

I have another brand new install of Joomla with CB 1.2.2 in the same exact environment and the "Save" function works just fine.

Any suggestions? (Oh and if this helps, the cancel button works just fine)

Standard suggestion:

See our Help Us Help you article and follow it.

Either a javascript conflict on your site or a memory issue I am guessing with so little information. Its not a CB related issue as things work just fine on all my test sites.

- Windows 2003 Server

- IIS 6.0

- Joomla 1.5.18 (Brand New Vanilla Installation no other extensions installed before CB 1.2.3)

- PHP Version 5.2.5

- MySQL 5.0.45

- On same server, using a separate directory and database.. identical brand new installation but using CB 1.2.2) Works fine.

- Using Firefox 3.6.6...

- OK literally just checked with IE 8 and it throws me page errors referincing a Jquery problem.. but here is the kicker.. same errors on CB 1.2.2 as CB 1.2.3

Webpage error details CB 1.2.2 (This version still manages to work however)

One glaring difference is the working version references index2.php on the save button link vs index.php on the save button link.

And why am I getting javascript errors on a totally clean install. How do I fix this?

SOLVED -

I managed to resolve this issue by installing the Joomla Extension SC JQuery.

If there is any reference to a JQuery extension being a requirement for CB installation in the manual, I failed to see it.

CB has its own jQuery library which possibly due to a conflict was not loading or an installed plugin uses jQuery, but did not load the library.
