Forgot Login

Folks,

I just finished installing CB 1.2.3. When I go into the "Forget Login" area, the "Send Username/Password" button is not active. I know I probably did not do something right, so I'll looking for some guidance in how to resolve this issue. Thanks in advance for the help!

Did you fill out all inputs onscreen? Either providing email or username or both? Once the necessary information is provided the button is enabled. If still not enabled you likely have a Fatal JS error on your site, please review your browsers error console for any JS errors.

Thanks! For some reason it just started working correctly. Where is the language file for changing the button label?

CBs language strings can be adjusted within the following language files.

Location: components/com_comprofiler/plugin/language/default_language/
Core: default_language.php
Team Plugins: cbteamplugins_language.php

Krilion,

Thanks! I'm using email as the primary login. So what I'm trying to do is change "Forget login?" to "Forgot Password?". I'm also trying to change the button labels on the "Send Username/Password" and "Send Username".

I noticed in the language files that there were variables for this type of change. Before modifying the language file, is there a setting I need to use to use the other variable in the language file? I have the "Login Field Type" set to "Email". Thanks for your thoughts on this topic.

No, no additional changes should be needed. You'll need to change the language strings as necessary. There's no way to eliminate username entirely however as it's required by the CMS.
