Registration Approval Emails to Admin not sending

I have Email confirm and Admin approve set to yes. Valid emails in the Registration Configuration. Moderators are set to YES to receive emails and approve.
When registering, the new user will receive the email with the confirmation link no problem. The new user confirms by clicking on email link. However, the moderator is NOT sent an email notice. The user who applied shows up in the CB Moderator and User list, but no notice is sent to the admin.
I am stumped, since new user receive emails, it means it CAN send emails.

Thanks for any help. I looked at previous forum posts and followed the instructions.

Seems that some email accounts completely block the auto emails sent from the system. I tested it with different accounts, and Yahoo email will accept the moderator notice emails, @me accounts will accept it, but other email accounts completely block these emails.

This is true for people registering, it seems the confirmation emails have a great chance at being blocked.

Anyone have a suggestion on reducing the risk of people's accounts blocking the system emails? Kinda a useless registration system if today;s email systems are very sensitive to blocking emails.

You can edit the users pending and welcome emails directly within CB on the registration tab. You can edit the moderator emails within CB language files. You may need to structure your email differently to avoid being classified as spam. There's nothing we can do about some email mailservers that classify a message as spam.
