CB Registration not loading with Shape5 template

Hi

I am having an issue with activating CB registration on a site - have followed the basic CB set up of turning off User Registration in User Options (and turning off the email in the Plug in), and setting CB Registration to Yes in the Config panel.

When I do this, I get error:
"You need to enable user registration from User Manager/Options in the backend of Joomla before this module will activate"
on my registration modules.

If I turn Reg back on in User Options, I get the Joomla reg module without my custom fields. The user is added to the CB user list, but the auto approve and activate do not happen, and the user receives the Joomla confirmation emails, not CB.

Sorry for the newbie question - what am i missing to activate the CB reg module and subsequent activities.

I would ask the template provider for assistance.

It looks like they are forcing you to use the Joomla login module.
