[SOLVED] CB reinstallation error after J3.10.4 migration to J4.0.5

2 years 2 months ago - 2 years 2 months ago #327910 by rikaryo
Friends I went to migrate a joomla 3.10.4 with several database errors, I managed to do a complete clean, migrate and reinstall all extensions, I'm sure the Community Builder, showed an error that follows in the post.

PHP 8.1 is only on localhost, I will send to hosting that works with PHP 8.0

I would appreciate if anyone could give me a hint on how to resolve this.

Thanks

PHP: 8.1.0

Joomla and CB are not PHP 8.1 ready. Drop down to 8.0 or 7.4. We will add 8.1 compatibility once Joomla does since we need core APIs to be functional before we can debug any CB specific issues.

Thanks for your attention @krileon

in the latest Joomla 4 patch we added fixes for compatibility with PHP 8.1. The CB is a very stable tool and I managed to solve the problem after hosting online and I identified that the php.ini had a small upload time.

I managed to get it back without any problem, thank you very much.
