[Resolved] User not enabled after mail confirmed

Hello all,

Thank you for your help ! :)

Version Information:
Joomla Version: 2.5.6
Community Builder Version: 1.8.1

Issue
When a user register on the site, he get's a confirmation email. When clicking the email, his account is correctly activated (Confirmed + Approved). But it is not Enabled.
If I look in his user profile I see "Block User: Yes".

Additional Setup
Joomla registration is disabled ==> User, User Manager, Option, Allow Registration ==> No
CB registration is on ==> Yes, independently of global site settings
Require Admin Approval ==> No
Require Email Confirmation ==> Yes
The link to the profile is set public

Additional Information
I've tried for the past 6-7 hours to solve it, using the web, forum and others. I'm unable to.

If I set Require Email Confirmation ==> No, then if a user register, he gets Confirmed + Approved + Enabled immediatly without any issue.

For so far I've seen, my user table in MySQL is not altered in any way. I've also not edited any php file related to joomla or community builder.

To me it's like when the user click the "confirmation" link, he comes to the index.php pages with the correct link to the com_profiler instance. He gets validated (as the confirm moves from no to yes), but it does not send any command to enable the user.

If any one could help me, I'll be very grateful !.

Yes I'm certain, it uses this url: ../component/comprofiler/registers as registering link.

please turn on joomla debug and try again - see if any errors appear.


this works fine for me on all my test sites.

Turned Joomla debug on.
Did the whole registration process.

No errors.

I even receive the mail after registration that say's your account has been approved by our staff...

But it's still blocked :)

I've found another issue.
I'm unable to change password from the Front-End or the Back-End using the CB plugin.

I've run all database checks provided with CB. All are green.

I really don't understand anymore :x
