URL for Registration Form

URL for Registration Form was created by 4creator
When I created the menu for user registration in Community Builder, I set the alias to "registration".
(I have selected CB Registration Form as the Menu Item Type and the value in the Link column is index.php?option=com_comprofiler&view=registers.)
This means that the URL would normally be mydomain.com/registration, but in fact it is mydomain.com/component/comprofiler/registers.

Is there a way to change the URL to mydomain.com/registration?

- Joomla 4.4.0
- Community Builder 2.8.2+build.2023.10.23.17.22.41.31efb5a24

The link should already be domain.com/registration.

Where are you seeing this exactly? When you click the menu item?

Our site is a multilingual site, so we set up a href="index.php?option=com_comprofiler&view=registers" when adding links in the text of our articles. It is possible to access domain.com/registration form by setting a href="registration" .

The CB seems to ignore my alias setting and adopt component/comprofiler/registers when set as a href="index.php?option=com_comprofiler&view=registers".

You hardcoded in links without an Itemid so the URLs are as they should be. Joomla doesn't perform any SEO when there's no Itemid. So you need to add &Itemid=MENU_ID to your URLs for them to properly SEO.

You can automate this with CB Content Bot which enables substitutions in Joomla articles as you can then just use the below substitution and CB will handle outputting the URL for you.

[cb:url location="registers" /]
