I have installed CB 1.4 on a Joomla 1.6.4 site and added the CB Login module. Also installed in CB Facebook connector plugin.

I am having two problems.

1) The Login module generates the following form element:
<form action="j.stpaulmosaic.org/component/comprofiler/login"
method="post" id="login-form" class="cbLoginForm" style="margin:0px;">

When I have the "Use URL rewriting" global configuration option set to "Yes", the correct action URL should be
<form action="j.stpaulmosaic.org/users/login"
method="post" id="login-form" class="cbLoginForm" style="margin:0px;">

When URL rewriting is off, it redirects correctly.
Facebook signin works regardless of URL rewriting mode.

2) When I use Firebug to "fix" url, and attempt to login, I receive error:
Session expired or cookies are not enabled in your browser. Please press "reload page" in your browser, and enable cookies in your browser. Please refresh/reload page before filling-in
