Incomplete registrations?

Incomplete registrations? was created by mtl83
I wonder if anyone has come across this before:

I occasionally have members sign up to my site, and get email notification that is different from the standard, with subject: "Account details for <name>"

When I log into the back end, I can see that the user has signed up and is able to log in, but has managed to do so without fully completing registration / all the required fields, and also without confirming their email address. How is this possible?

Thanks!

Looks like you have not locked down the joomla registration and people are bypassing CB.

I am sure this is discussed in the readme and the install document.

Glad you are back on track.

This is mention in the installation guide - in bold red letters.

Also mentioned in the readme text files.

We have also put it in big red letters on the CB Configuration - tools backend.

Now please tell me what else can we do so I do not have to address this issue almost everyday?

To be honest I had a glance through the userguide and couldn't see it in any of the sections I expected to find it in. I expected CB installation to automatically disable the Joomla login module. Maybe a FAQ separate read me?
