Remove the conditional and see if issue persists. That's happening in _explodeCBvalues function where it does an explode on the array.

Issue persists when deactivating all conditionals of the field, CB Conditional published.
When unpublishing CB Conditional and in debug mode upon frontend user profile editing:
"Notice: Use of undefined constant isModerator - assumed 'isModerator' in /var/www/vhosts/au-fair.com/httpdocs/af/j25/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbprofilegallery/cb.profilegallery.php on line 1630"
Plus List of DB Queries.
When unpublishing CB Conditional and in debug mode upon frontend user profile editing:
"Notice: Use of undefined constant isModerator - assumed 'isModerator' in /var/www/vhosts/au-fair.com/httpdocs/af/j25/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbprofilegallery/cb.profilegallery.php on line 1630"

Yes, exactly. With CB Conditionals unpublished profile editing works fine - and no error messages displayed.
