[#3865] GJ Email notify users on approval to join group?

Hi -

When users join a GJ Group, I have it set so that they must be approved by admin.

Admin gets an email saying

John Doe has joined The Group In Question in That Group's Category and requires approval!

And user gets a message on screen:

Message: Joined Group successfully and awaiting approval!

It also sort of shows them as having joined the group since the "Join group" link on the group page has changed to "Leave group".

When I do approve them as Admin, they don't get an email saying that they've been approved.

The trouble here is that before I approve them I have to add them to the corresponding joomla ACL groups manually before their "full 'group' access" can be set into effect site-wide.

Is there a setting that I'm not seeing to send an email notification to members that they have been approved.

I'm not using any PMS at the moment, would it send them a PMS, and then I would use the PMS link to email to bridge the gap?

Many thanks -- dj

Such a notification isn't implemented, which is why nothing sends when approving them. Added a feature request for such a notification though for next release.
