[#5119] Field Sort Order was created by martynf
Hi,
I have several tabs all behaving normally. However I have one tab which contains 13 query fields and when they are displayed in the front end, the order is wrong.
I have saved several times, purged and cleared cache, do you have any idea what could be causing this please?

The order is entirely based off the order you've given them in CB > Field Management. If you've multiple fields on the same tab with the same order value it can get a bit wonky so ensure they increment correctly beginning with 1.

Strange, I'm unable to confirm on 3 installs. They all appear to be ordering fine. Please PM backend super administrator login credentials and will take a look.

Weird, I can't see any reason for this. The query looks fine. Disabling the few non-core plugins doesn't resolve. You maybe hitting database limitations as you've 288 fields, but that really shouldn't be a problem for that tab as its all CB Query Fields. If possible please PM FTP access and will put some debug code in place to see what's going on with that fields array. Something is changing its order, but I have no idea what.

Was able to find the cause of your issue. It's due to a caching bug in our fields API. I've patched your install for you where it is now working fine. I've created a bug ticket and will fix for next CB release.
