I posted this to the UddeIM support area, but did not receive a resolution - I was hoping that the CB team may be able to shed some insight as to what's going on:

In short, from within UddeIM, the link when you hover / click on a user's name or image takes you to GroupJive, and not their CB profile, even with the configurations enabled correctly.

Ensure you've a public and published Joomla menu item to CBs profile page. The wrong Itemid is likely being used resulting in Joomla sending you to the wrong location. If you're using SEF without URL Rewriting this is a common problem.

I have two that are public and published - one is in a menu that is not linked to a module, one is the child of a menu item that is for Registered (logged in) people only. Will that work, or does it need to be present for public, and visible to someone who is not logged in?

I can give backend access to a copy of the site, for testing, if that helps.

That should be fine, but it's important they their menutype is correct. Edit them and ensure their menu type points specifically to the community builder profile menutype. If you migrated from CB 1.x and those links were created during your usage of CB 1.x then their menutypes will be invalid.

Hm. I updated the Menutype for both items, and found one old unpublished menu item on my Kunena menu, which I deleted. Issue is still persisting.

Then I'm guessing the issue is directly in UddeIM with how it's constructing profile URLs. Is your issue present on a CB userlist for example? or anywhere else outside of CB?
