Would the following be possible

when getting a notification of for instance a new event which has been posted inside the group, the link actually goes to the proper tab (so the event one).
FOr now it goes to the group but shows the tab you last visited

Following this thread since I have the same problem... It is very very confusing for users. Sorry, just realised that I could just have pressed on "Get notifications" in order to follow the stuff in here.

Stable release will have the event title in the notification linked and that link will go directly to the groups events tab for example. Other integrations will follow same usage.

Works inside the PM I get, but was expecting it to work as wel inside the activity feed, but that one doesnt
