[#6178] CB Gallery V2 Custom Limit was created by smFruen
Hey the new CB Gallery V2, is very nice

but i have one thing

when I set a Custom Limit of (photo) for my registred user, they can not upload
when I set a no Limit of (photo) for my registred user then they can.
but not if i set at Custom Limit.

then they can not upload anything. but I, as a super user can

what am I doing wrong

?

Looks like a bug. I've the IF condition flipped. Fixing for next build (out later today or early tomorrow). Below will quickfix it.

IN: components/com_comprofiler/plugin/libraries/CB/Plugin/Gallery/CBGallery.php
ON: Line 341
FROM:
if ( $createLimit && ( $createLimit >= $gallery->items( true ) ) ) {
TO:
if ( $createLimit && ( $gallery->items( true ) >= $createLimit ) ) {

Same issue affects album limits too.

it works now, but when a user meet the limit

the user get this ( Invalid file. Please upload only zip, rar, doc, pdf, txt, xls, mp4, ogv, ogg, webm, m4v, mp3, oga, weba, wav, m4a! )

That's because the upload/link functionality is multi-media. It simply ignores that media type. Will review adding better error output when attempting to upload or link a limited media type.
