Hello,
I would like to configure the CB Activity Settings in a way that all registered Users are able to comment the postings of other Users. I have set authorization in the plugin settings to registered, but there is no field to input a comment under a posting from another user. Only if I was locked in as moderator there are fields to input a comment under each post from other users.

You can't unless you globally disable Connections. Currently commenting on another users activity is only allowed if those users are connected. A parameter to disable this connection check will be added in CB Activity 4.0.0.
