[#6406] Unpublished auto-action still fires was created by fribse2011
I have quite a few 'sub' actions set up, that are triggered by 'master actions'.
Some of them are emails sent out in various situations.
On my test site I don't want it to send out these emails to users of course, when I experiment on users, so I unpublished all the email actions.
But it still sends out the emails :blink:

Are you using Type of Action or just acting on the autoactions_onAction trigger? If you're using the Type of Action it doesn't care what the published state is of the action. Have added a bug ticket to fix that as it should be checking publish state before executing the actions selected.

I'm using type of action, that way I can use the sub actions in multiple master actions.
Sounds great, thankyou for confirming.
I can see you've already marked it as solved, so it will be in a nightly?

Yup, it's fixed in latest build. It'll check the publish state of the actions it's trying to execute now.
