How can I display different UE_USER_CONFIRMED messages depending on the user group?

Don't think you can. Wherever it's being output would need to support substitutions as there are IF substitutions for view access levels as well as usergroups. See the bottom of the substitution tutorial below for examples if you want to give it a try.

Added a feature ticket to add substitutions support to that language string in addition to the other messagesToUsers output.
