Questions about Private Message System was created by liaskas
Hello...
I would like to know if Private Message System plugin has the following functions:
These are all functions that exist in UDDEIM, but as i have read UDDEIM is about to end and i also believe that Private Message System will be more flexible as a native community builder plugin.

I would like to know if Private Message System plugin has the following functions:
- Send PMs with attachments
- Create Contact lists
- Multiple recipient selection from list
These are all functions that exist in UDDEIM, but as i have read UDDEIM is about to end and i also believe that Private Message System will be more flexible as a native community builder plugin.

No, not at this time. This is planned to be provided by CB Gallery similar to how it provides uploads in CB Activity.Send PMs with attachments
Somewhat, yes. You can optionally select from your list of connections if enabled. Beyond that no custom contact lists are not provided and not planned.Create Contact lists
Yes, you can send a PM to multiple recipients at once if enabled.Multiple recipient selection from list

Can we have the option to restrict "Message sending" to administrators only? ( all members can receive and reply, but only our admin user group can initiate contact...) This is mission-critical for our application!

Yes, create access permissions for private messages are planned. This is already noted in the below feature ticket.
