Yes, one query select that trigger via ajax another one and another one (country - state - city). I just remove one by one and it remain visible in the tab in edit profile mode, not in profile view. Note I have also cb conditional installed.

So the progress field is properly hiding in profile view, but not in profile edit? Where are you verifying this? If in backend then it will always show in backend profile edit if displayed in profile edit. Frontend should respect that parameter though. Please PM backend super user login credentials (see forum signature for link to quickly PM me) and will take a look as I don't know what further to suggest as this is working as intended in all my tests.
