[SOLVED] Forum integration not working was created by davidashurst77
Hi
I have installed Community Builder and all is working. However Forum integration not working.
It has a green tick next to it in the CB Plugin Manager, but when I previewed it on the live web page it says: The forum component is not installed. Please contact your site administrator.
However, in the Prameters part of the Edit [ Forum integration ], I have selected: Kunena from www.kunena.com. and there is a green tick.
Do I have install anything else.
Please help!

You need to have Kunena installed, the forum integration integrates a forum; it does not provide one. I recommend reviewing the documentation available to advanced subscribers (yourself for example).

I am still having issues with forum integration with CB. I am trying to install a forum, using all of the 4 forum options listed in CB. None are loading without error messages.
1. Which is the most compatible with CB? (I'm using Joomla 1.5)
2. Can you send me a link to the download?
3. Can you send me a link to the pdf help file for integrating a Forum?
(I have referred to cb_1.3.1_manual.pdf, there is no reference here)
4. Which is the most effective means of installing the Forum, via the CB plug manger or the Joomla installer?
I'm constructing a commercial website and time is of the essence. I need the forum up and running as fast as possible, without trouble shooting integration issues.

The one we use here is Kunena.
Their website is www.kunena.org
Once you install it - thinks should be easy.
The Kunena forum extension also needs some configuration from its end (instructions are located on kunena site for this).
Non CB plugins are always installed from Joomla Installer.

Non CB plugins are always installed from Joomla Installer.
