I have been using the AJAX checker for usernames during user registration for some time now without problems. Recently I am seeing an issue where the registration page either goes blank or shows part of the frontpage as soon as you complete the username field. No changes has been made to the site which could have caused this.

I have also upgraded to CB 1.4 but this has not resolved the issue. I was on CB 1.2.3 before.

I have checked and in Configuration.php I have - var $live_site = '';

I have turned out debug but did not see anything relevant there.

Firebug shows a couple of errors -
jQuery is not defined
<meta name="description" content="" />

Any help or pointers would be appreciated. Thanks.

A further update - just removed REDj (SEF) component which has been on the site for ages and this has resolved the issue.
