[SOLVED] Adding a text input to Merchandise plan

[SOLVED] Adding a text input to Merchandise plan was created by aguaw
I have a Merchandise plan to buy entries for a doubles competition... is it possible to add an extra field to the plan so we can enter a second name for the entry process to the plan registration show how?

Nope, best I can suggest is create a new CB field for the user to supply this information.

Would this mean once someone signs up, we then access their data in user manager to see what they have filled in?

Yes, there's currently no other way to request additional information during the purchase of a plan. It's possible to add inputs to the basket from a plugin (e.g. CBSubs Promotions does it), but we've no plugin that can provide such a feature at this time.
