How difficult would it be to hack a new field type in CB?
I would like to add a field that would display an Icon along with text.
I had attempted to blindly hack core CB code earlier but got no where. Any suggestions?

An example of how this might be used is when a user selects their gender, an icon of a male or female could be displayed rather than just text.

I like this idea -- dont know how to do it, but I would suggest logging it as a feature request so that it might make it into the new core!

I tried doing this but failed as html is filtered out of any field type.. even the types that could present images won't.

I first tried to make a dropdown with images to select but no way a dropdown CAN have an image.. thats a html limitation..
but radio buttons should be able to present images.. and this is where html code is filtered..

iow. i like the idea too..

How about a plugin that could do something similar?
